As always I wind up being in intense “like” with boys who live far, far away – Like seven seas separate us sorta far away. And when they ask you stupid shit like “Why do you like me?” it pisses me off because I can’t say how I really feel without making them feel like I’m a fucking psycho.
It also makes me think and you know, me and over- thinking is never really a good idea. But if I could tell you all these crazy things without you disappearing on me then I’d tell you that I like you because ….
With you, it’s the 4th of July on the 4th of August. And If you and I had some drums and some bugles and some horses and some fire engines, we could be a holiday.
Maybe a celebration.
And sometimes I’m absolutely convinced we could be a whole fucking parade!
I like you because … I don’t know …everything that happens is nicer with you. I can’t remember when I didn’t like you. It must’ve have been terribly lonesome then.
I like you because if I were there or if you were here, you would not look away or pretend to stare at the birds and the trees when I needed to throw up. You’d say something like “Maybe it’s something you ate” or “I remember this happened to me once …”. I like that, I can dream. Can’t I?
We’d spy secret places, go troll hunting, feed them skittles maybe? See what I mean?
