‘Hit the road’ Blues

I have these songs that I drive to. The kind where you take your car out late in the evening, you turn up your speakers, sing along to songs that break your heart and then it starts raining and you keep driving. It’s a case of the hit the road blues. It’s the kind of music that all your girlfriends will sing along in parts regardless about who the artist is. There is no shame in it. In fact, there could be a Hannah Montana song on it and there would be no “ewwwwwww”s.

Yes, you had to also because they were on MTV 24/7. Granted, at that time I stilled watched MTV and it was not a Pay-TV channel like its is now over here.
