The World is One Nation

I know this blog has taken somewhat of a ‘subtle’ negative tone over the past few months on account of life handing me too many lemons but this Friday, I went for a really nice birthday meal.

It was an Italian restaurant run by a Japanese couple in the IT hub of India who served us complimentary French sparkling wine. It has all the makings of a ‘walks into a bar’ joke but it just filled me with such warmth.

Life is pretty darn okay.

  1. That’s life. There are good times and let’s say less good times. They belong together, and it’s ok to speak about them. But a good meal with good wine and nice people can be so great. I wish you more of this!
    Have a great week!

      1. Thanks, yes very good here.
        Even sometimes I think, I live in a paradise-dungeon ….
Hey, I remember to talk with you about Xmas markets in Germany. This evening or tomorrow I will post a few pics. Nothing special, but a Xmas market with about 4 Mio visitors in 4 weeks. (Stuttgart, Germany). Perhaps you know it. And I’m eating so much cookies, it’s fully bad…. 😉

  2. Well thank goodness for that!! I’m so glad to hear that you are loving life again.
I was literally on the point of making some “Creamy Potatocinnameginger” soup and delivering it to you. It’s a sure fire cure for the blues and any other colour of feelings.
Happy birthday… You surely know that you are wonderful anyway, but as added assurance you now know that you are the same star sign as me… isn’t life just brilliant.
    Take care.
