Headers

So every now and then (which means ALL THE TIME) I obsess about when this blog will look like a piece of art – how the header will be just perfect and how the layout will draw the readers in to get joyfully lost in. Which means that I spend an unhealthy bit of my time designing these in the hope of a “one day” and as a reminder of this, I thought I’d start putting them on here so I don’t forget where I want this blog to be in a few years.

    1. Thank you. This is what I do instead of popping bubble wrap. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not. I’m an amateur at Photoshop but I do love the software. Maybe you’ll commission your blog header to me? 😉

  1. The first air-mail thing is cute as is the very first header. And I totally get what you’re saying about spending way too much time on this. I do it as well even if it doesn’t get me anywhere and I don’t even know how to make headers like those above.

  2. Those are so well designed and creative. How did you even make those? I’d have to say that the third to last is my favourite.

Your hard work and time spent on design is paying off, because I was immediately drawn in by your background, title and header.

    1. Sometimes when I’m bored, I sit on photoshop. Before the blog looked like this, it just had a generic theme with no header option. So I made them with the hopes that I would one day be able to use them! TADAAA! Thank you so much for your kind words. I quite like that one as well.
