London appreciation post 🥰

Now I've had time to recover from how crazy this summer was, here are a few moments from August that made it worthwhile!

Will we ever be able to holiday somewhere without immediately googling how to move there?

I met Adam half a year after he turned 30. This year, he turns 40 and I wanted to do something special to celebrate. After all, this is a person who followed me all over the world. He has done and continues to do whatever it takes to make us work - including working hell jobs, doing without, writing endless plant descriptions - literally, whatever it takes. Sure, he will whine about it at first. It's the British in him. But, at the end of the day, he has always put his money where his mouth is and done the work. And so, this was my gift to him - an all-expenses paid holiday to somewhere warm, historic, indulgent and so perfect for him. In return, I got to eat a gelato everyday and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Dalmatian region of Croatia. Oh, how I suffer for him! 😅

I've never seen anything quite like last night's concert. We saw @mitskileaks in the middle of winter in Cologne in one of the smallest studios. We were easily the youngest and considered weirdo stans cause we knew the lyrics to all the songs from the new album. Cut to this concert 3.5 years later and we're one of the oldest people in a crowd of super stans who knew every single lyric! It was a very 🤯🤯🤯 moment. What a night!

Northern Ireland was so unbelievably stunning and otherworldly, I immediately insisted we either move here or come back for a long road trip. No points for guessing which Adam picked 🥲

📍 Belfast, Northern Ireland - because this city deserves it's own love letter!
